Trash The Dress = Perfection

Have you ever had one of those days where everything just came together perfectly?? Yesterday was one of those days for me. I would say that it was one of the best days I've ever had as a photographer. Every single element (from the models, to the vintage truck, to the rain breaking at just the right time throughout the day) came together in a way that only happens to the luckiest of people. I'll be the first one to admit that I really do have the best job in the entire world, and yesterday just proved it to me even more.

It all started when my dear friend Ben (www.BenjaminTrevor.com) called me really late at night with this brilliant idea. He said, "I have a Trash The Dress idea". That was all it took. The wheels started spinning the instant he picked up his phone to call me. It turns out that Ben and I make a pretty good team. :)

Here's a rundown of all the amazing people that played major roles in yesterday's shoot:

  • Paul Gibson at Centro Models led us to our models (see below!)
  • Mr. and Mrs. Ted and Shannon Quinn. Our FABO models for the day. Complete and total professionals that were a joy to work with!
  • Savvi Formalwear donated our amazing tuxedo.
  • Embrassei Moi all but donated our veil and dress... that fit Shannon absolutely perfectly.
  • Kelly at The Crimson Petal made the bouquet that is featured throughout the shoot.
  • Jayme Datillo was our hair and makeup girl. Find her on Facebook. Her work is top of the line.
  • Tyler Burrus is my amazing assistant.
  • Mike Edmondson brought us the 1934 vintage Ford Truck. Not only did he stay the entire time, but he also helped out with some of our "special effects" that Ben came up with.
I promise to give more details on all of our team players, but in the mean time I'd like to share a little teaser of what's to come. It looks like their truck broke down on the side of the road... I wonder who is going to fix it???? Hmmmm... I bet you can't guess, can you? :)
